Our Elders

Russell Bennett

Gary Hill

Ramon Brown

Al Maxey

The apostle Paul commanded that elders (plural) be appointed in every church.  These men are to be Godly men, mature in age and spirituality, above reproach, honorable, and respected by all.  These men are commissioned to lead the local congregation, ensuring faithfulness to God's Word in all that is taught and practiced.  Our elders are such men.  (Read 1 Tim. 3.1-7 and Titus 1.5-9, biblegateway.com.)

Our Preacher

Jeff Foster

It is our responsibility and divine calling to proclaim the Word of God into all of the world.

Jeff Foster serves as our preacher.  He and his wife Melanie have three beautiful children: Elizabeth, Hannah, and Grace.  Jeff is a graduate of Lubbock Christian University (1994, B.A. Bible), and is completing a Master of Divinity degree from L.C.U.  Jeff has served churches in Lubbock, TX; Denver, CO; Childress, TX; Hollis, OK; and Idalou, TX.

And, no! this is not a recent photo of Jeff!

The first deacons were appointed to lead the church in acts of service to those in need, and to fulfill other needed tasks.  Our deacons are involved in this way.  They are Godly men, responsible and honest in all of their affairs.  They are family men devoted to serving the Lord and his church.  (Read 1 Tim. 3.8-13, biblegateway.com.)
